Once we have our plan of action, we'll proceed onto the actual design process, the part
we as web designers love the most.
Before we even start writing the code and designing the graphics, we do some research on your competitors. We'll study several sites in your industry and see what's working for them, and what's not working for them. We'll get an idea of some of the basic standards for your specific industry and how we can make your site stand out from the crowd. After extensive research, the next step is the actual design process. We begin by bouncing around design ideas in our head in an attempt to come up with an attractive and suitable design for your site. We then start creating the graphics and then crafting the basic layout of your website. Our goal is to create images and layouts that are both aesthetically pleasing to the eye and which don't require extensive download times. With ease of use in mind, we develop a system of navigation and organize your site content in the best possible way. The main purpose of a website is to provide information; therefore, your site must be easy to navigate and all of your information should be readily accessible to all users. All of the coding and scripting for your site will be done in correlation with the other steps of the process. The graphics don't serve much purpose if they don't have the proper code to place them on the page and vice versa. Throughout the entire design and development process, we'll be in constant contact with you, getting your input and opinions on the website that we're producing. This correspondence greatly improves the quality of your site and saves a lot of time in the review process. We want to make sure it's done right the first time. Next >> |
